Drive the full R&D cycle of Stellar's investment systems by combining financial intuition, modeling depth, and engineering execution
π― Role Description
Research & Modeling
- Develop advanced models for low-frequency predictions of returns and risks (primarily Indian equities, but including other asset classes)
- Build hyper-personalized portfolio optimizers compatible with various benchmarks, constraints, and financial goals-based objectives
- Drive continuous improvement of alpha generation and capacity expansion
- Collaborate with the founder, product, and growth teams to align research output with company goals
Systems & Development
- Build scalable quantitative investment and wealth-management systems, including robust data pipelines and proprietary alternative data integrations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive platforms for alpha research, backtesting, and live experimentation
- Own DevOps and infrastructure practices, ensuring auditability, reliability, and security of data flows and execution systems
- Continuously leverage AI assistance to boost creativity and product velocity

π― Role Description
- Lead and grow Stellarβs client partnerships, creating service rituals that foster trust and enthusiasm from the very first interaction
- Own the end-to-end client journey: sale, onboarding, portfolio discussions, and relationship building
- Communicate investment strategies clearly, especially our hyper-personalization, goal-focused, and quant & AI-driven approach (you will explain credibly and loop in internal experts when required)
- Collect and structure actionable client feedback, processing client signals to work cross-functionally with product and quant teams to influence product direction

- Experience: 5+ years in wealth management, PMS/AIF advisory, or private banking

Lead compliance processes and fund operations while serving as designated company secretary
π― Role Description
Compliance Ownership
- Lead end-to-end compliance processes and liaisoning across SEBI, RoC, and other regulatory bodies, including for initial PMS license procurement
- Proactively anticipate regulatory changes and adapt compliance processes ahead of formal announcements
- Undertake the responsibilities of our designated company secretary
Operational Excellence
- Oversee PMS fund operations: NAV reporting, digital KYC/AML, accurate fee processing, etc
- Handle client interactions, sales support, onboarding processes, and grievance resolution
Governance, Legal, and Finance Coordination
- Coordinate closely with external CA, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to uphold impeccable corporate governance
- Manage internal financial operations
ποΈ Preferred Background
- Experience: 5+ years in compliance and operations for a SEBI-registered PMS, with a track record of successfully navigating regulatory audits
- Education: Qualifications in CS (eligible to be the designated CS)
- Versatility: Enthusiastic about proactively taking ownership of diverse responsibilities across compliance, operations, finance, and client interactions
- Bonus: Zero-to-one experience at fintech startups and interest in staying fluent in modern AI tools
